Schools did their best to support students during the multiple lockdowns experienced last year. What we found this year is that many students are not academically up to standard, lack routines and the work ethic required to achieve. To avoid having another ‘COVID Hangover’, schools need to build student capacity by helping them in the following areas:
To help in these critical areas, we’ve created online programs and adapted existing ones, to help support your school community through this lockdown.
Our clients tell us that our programs are ‘edu-taining’. We try our best to ensure that our content is relevant and practical, while ensuring our delivery is engaging and entertaining. We kept this at the forefront of our mind when we created our online programs. During the process, we took it to a new level and are excited to share what this will look like for you.
Expertly trained presenters that deliver practical content in a highly engaging manner; including the use of video conferencing tools like screen sharing, messaging, reactions and break out rooms.
Engaging online quizzes where the results can be reported to you to demonstrate our unique way of helping students’ understand and retain key messages and ideas in the session.
Polling of student responses to key questions that allow our presenters to assess (in real time) and then respond meaningfully, to what the students think and feel about the content being delivered.
Entertaining and energetic brain / screen breaks, which enable students to concentrate fully, in short bursts, without experiencing brain or eye fatigue.
Workbooks can be printed from home or saved as a pdf that can be written over in the session, so students can capture all the important information for their growth & achievement.
Programs can be recorded for students that are sick or have limited access to devices / the internet, so they can access it at a time that is more suitable. Staff and parents can also watch the program to ensure that they reinforce and support the key messages so that everyone is working together to achieve a common goal.
New and improved student feedback reports displaying a graphed analysis of key data to comprehensively evaluate the effectiveness of the program.
We are keen to collaborate with you and customise our programs or develop new content to meet any targeted needs you identify with your school community.
We have worked very hard to put these online programs together and we hope you will find them a valuable resource in building student, staff and parent capacity during this challenging time.
